The ARENA-coordinated H2020-funded PLATO project's kick-off conference will take place in Oslo on 16-20 October 2017. It will bring together all partners for academic discussions and social networking.

On Tuesday 30 May 2017, Professor Hussein Kassim and Professor Sara Connolly from the University of East Anglia gave the presentation 'One EU civil service or many? The General Secretariat of the Council and the European Commission compared'.

In Oslo on 18 and 19 May, this conference discussed the current internal dynamics in the EU, the different models of partnership with the EU and the future of Norway-EU relations.

Erik Jones from the Johns Hopkins University opened the spring series of the Tuesday seminars at ARENA on 24 January 2017. His presentation was entitled 'What’s wrong with the Euro and how to fix it'.
