NORCIE Centre at The Department of Economics hosted CEPR's "European Research Workshop in International Trade (ERWIT) 2026." The workshop took place at the University's Gamle Festsalen from 3 to 5 June 2026. ERWIT 2026 was organised in cooperation with BI Norwegian Business School and co-funded by the ERC/UKRI under Horizon Europe Guarantee.

Ambisjonen er å bygge et nasjonalt kraftsenter for forskning på internasjonal økonomi, og å dele kunnskapen med myndigheter, næringsliv og offentligheten. Norwegian Centre for International Economics (NORCIE) blei i dag offisielt åpna av utenriksminister Espen Barth Eide.
