NORCIE Centre at The Department of Economics hosted CEPR's "European Research Workshop in International Trade (ERWIT) 2026." The workshop took place at the University's Gamle Festsalen from 3 to 5 June 2026. ERWIT 2026 was organised in cooperation with BI Norwegian Business School and co-funded by the ERC/UKRI under Horizon Europe Guarantee.

ERWIT is an annual workshop that brings together international economists from across Europe and key researchers from outside the region.
The program this year covered such key topics in international trade as the trade war between the US and China, sanctions, protectionism, trade and climate.
