Martin Moland’s academic interests include public opinion in the EU countries, as well as how political decisions impact upon public opinion. His PhD project will investigate the support for differentiated integration in what is a turbulent time for the European Union, as well as how differentiation has democratic consequences for the EU as a whole.
Moland has an MA in political science from the University of Oslo (2018), and a Bachelor’s degree in European studies from the same university. His Master’s thesis investigated the consequences of austerity policies for the trust in and approval of the EU. Moland also has a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Volda University College.
