Bakgrunn

Utdannet cand.psychol. fra Universitetet i Oslo i 1986., avlagt doktorgrad samme sted i 2005, godkjent spesialist i klinisk psykologi med fordypning barn. Doktorgradsarbeidet omhandlet barn hvor det var mistanke om seksuelle overgrep.

Ansatt ved Psykologisk Institutt og har en bi-stilling ved Nasjonalt kunnskapssenter om vold og traumatisk stress .

Avsluttet en studie om hvordan norske foreldre og barn opplevde tsunamien i Sørøst-asia.

Pågående behandlingsstudie om behandling av traumatiserte barn.

Pågående studie om unge enslige asylsøkere.

Pågående studie om ungdom som var på Utøya 22. juli og deres familier.
