About the group

Quali-LAB is a collaborative research space for qualitative psychology researchers in Oslo. The network facilitates discussions, collaborations, and research to bridge cross-disciplinary knowledge boundaries in psychology. With a core expertise in qualitative and mixed-methods research, the lab focuses on promoting methodological discussions, research generation, and dissemination. It has become an important arena for researchers looking to discuss their methodological approaches and collaborate with others in the field.

Mission

Through seminars, workshops, discussions, and dissemination of ongoing research, the Quali-LAB is a space to contribute to advancing uses of qualitative methods and multi-methods approaches in psychology. Our mission is to act as a collaborative platform of collegial mentoring, fostering a safe environment for researchers from all backgrounds to join and thrive. We strive to provide opportunities for networking across methodological and psychological fields, as well as locally and globally.

Aim

The lab aims to be a collaborative meeting place, a learning arena, and a creative space for discussing and sharing aspects specifically related to qualitative methods and multi-method approaches. We want to strengthen the dialogue within psychological research to make qualitative and mixed methods more accessible.
