Who does what?
The department head has the overall responsibility and authority with respect to all tasks that are not explicitly assigned to the department board's area of authority, and has the authority to make decisions with respect to ongoing issues.
The department head is elected for a period of four years. Simultaneously, a deputy department head is elected, who will take over the department heads duties and authority in cases of extended absence.
The administrative department head oversees the department's administrative employees and the coordination of their work, in consultation with and at the behest of the department head.
