Political Data Science (PODS)
The digitalization of records of political data, historical and current, has the potential to substantively enrich, and challenge, our understanding of political phenomena. The Political Data Science (PODS) research group brings together scholars interested in the collection and exploitation of these new sources of data.

About PODS
Established in 2021, PODS provides a venue for organizing workshops and seminars in all aspects of political data science.
Cooperation
Several members of PODS are members of CIR, the department's research group on comparative institutions and regimes. PODS members are open to cooperation with governmental agencies, NGOs, and private organizations working in the field of political data science.
Relevant courses
Members of PODS teach an undergraduate course in Social Science Data Analysis and Programming and a graduate course in statistical analysis. We are also planning a course in digital data collection.
