Kaja Lilleng is guest researcher at TIK 2026-2027.
She is a Doctoral Researcher (soon-to-be Postdoc) at the Department of Management Studies, Aalto University, Finland. Her research looks at how social and environmental value is engaged with and constructed in finance, in the context of early-stage impact investing. Situated across economic sociology, the sociology of finance, and valuation studies, her work traces the practices through which value is given, the qualitative and moral judgements at work in a financialised context, and the role of temporal horizons in shaping how things come to be made valuable. She also has a practitioner background in the field, working with early-stage impact funds and the surrounding ecosystem in the Nordics.
