Academic interests
I am broadly interested in anything having to do with the relationship between democracy and capitalism in modern history. I have published journal articles within intellectual history, economic history, political theory and various social sciences. My PhD project covered the transnational development of early neoliberal thought in the years between 1920 and 1947, and was published as the monograph "Reinventing Liberalism" (Springer, 2020). I have also written a monograph on market reforms in Norway entiteld "Markedesvendingen" (Fagbokforlaget, 2020). As a postdoc at BI Norwegian Business School I worked on the corporate governance of hybrid state owned enterprises that are also publicly listed, and at the TIK-centre I am working on a new book on the history of economics in Norway.
