In mid August, 12 PhD candidates from across European Universities gathered at Aklerselva for the PhD course WATER, SOCIETY, ECOLOGY: Experiments in Environmental Ethnography.
In late June, 18 PhD candidates and Marianne Lien, Andrew Mathews, Knut Nustad and Anna Tsing gathered at Svanhovd in Pasvik, on the Norwegian – Russian border for a week of exploring the political geomorphology of landscapes.

After finishing his PhD at the University of Cape Town, Anselmo Matusse travelled to the University of Oslo together with his wife and young son. They were given the opportunity through the INTPART project.
Through the INTPART-project, Jess Auerbach was given the opportunity to leave busy Cape Town for a prosperous exchange to US Santa Cruz.
At the end of September 2022, the INTPART organizing team met at the University of Tokyo for an opening workshop and coordinating meeting.
