How do the brain and body create subjective experiences? What happens in the nervous system that makes us perceive something as good or bad, pleasant or painful? Our research group Affective Brains uses a variety of affective and social neuroscience techniques to answer this fundamental question. More on the great team here. Much of our research focuses on the body's own opioid system and the effects of opioid drugs. Our projects span from basic science to clinical projects such as www.Norop.net
