Workshop: An Introduction to the GPT-API

For researchers looking to fully harness the power of large language models (LLMs) like GPT, interacting with the model through a browser can be limiting. APIs offer a more efficient and flexible way to access these tools, enabling large-scale, automated interactions with GPT.UiO. Curious about how APIs can enhance your research? Join us for a breakfast workshop with Senior Engineers Knut Waagan and Sherin Sugathan, where they will introduce the GPT-API and present an example of practical applications.

Program

Baked goods, coffee, and tea will be served.

The workshop is open to all scientific staff at the Faculty of Social Sciences at UiO.

We encourage you to join us for this insightful session and engage in the discussion on the future of AI in social science research.

This is primarily a physical workshop where the participants can interact with the speaker, but the event will be streamed for those who would like to watch the event.

Please sign up for the event (for food and drinks) within October 3rd: Registration for the talk by Senior Engineers Knut Waagan and Sherin Sugathan on the use of the GPT-API

About the Presenters:
