OSIRIS researcher defends doctoral thesis

Researcher Gry Cecilie Høiland will defend her thesis «Frontline policy implementation in public organizations. A sociological analysis of the ‘how and why’ of implementation gaps» on November 1st.

On november 1st 2018, OSIRIS researcher Gry Cecilie Høiland will defend her ph.d dissertation at the University of Stavanger.

Gry joined the OSIRIS team in September 2018, in a researcher position financed by NAV (The Norwegian Labor and Welfare Administration). Her ph.d project on implementation of evidence-based frontline policy in NAV is very relevant for the work done by OSIRIS, and the team wishes her luck in her upcoming thesis defence.

Title of trial lecture:  «Barriers and facilitators for evidence-based frontline policy and top-down implementation in public sector in general, and NAV in particular».
