Professor i kognitiv-nevropsykologi. Har Bachelor i eksperimentell psykologi fra Universitá La Sapienza (Roma, Italia) og Ph.D. i biologisk psykologi fra The University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA). Har tidligere jobbet ved Universitetet i Bergen, Universitetet i Tromsø, University of Guelph (Canada), Harvard University (USA) og i 3 år var han Clinical Research Fellow ved Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston (USA).
