Importance change in registration
At previous NCSR conferences, the conference fee has included a two-year subscription of Nordic Journal of Religion and Society (NJRS). NJRS publishes the plenary lectures and accepted papers from the conference, in addition to other articles on religion and society. In order to keep the conference fee low and comply with Norwegian tax regulations, the registration and the subscription of NJRS are divided into two separate payments and will take place in two steps:
Step 1: You must first pay the registration fee (990 NOK) at this website.
Step 2: Once you have paid the registration fee, you will receive an invoice from KIFO Institute for Church, Religion and Worldview Research, who will administer the NJRS subscription fee (848 NOK).
Please note that both payments (the total conference fee of 1838 NOK) must be made before you are registered as a participant at the conference.
The total conference fee includes:
- Access to all scientific events at the conference
- Reception hosted by the City of Oslo
- Lunch and coffee/tea/fruit Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
- Evening fjord cruise with shrimp buffet on Wednesday (drinks must be purchased individually)
- Conference dinner on Thursday evening
- A two-year subscription of Nordic Journal of Religion and Society
