Research collaboration

The Centre for Technology, Innovation and Culture studies production and dissemination of knowledge - broadly defined as the development of and interaction between science and technology, innovation and entrepreneurship - through inter-disciplinary linkages between the social sciences and the humanities.

TIK is open for collaboration with public and private partners interested in research and research based knowledge. Our most common forms of collaboration are the following:

Research projects funded by the Research Council of Norway (RCN)
The Research Council, whitch primarily founds research activities in Norway, currently support several research projects at TIK.

Research projects funded by the EU
TIK has several on-going projects wthin the 6th and 7th Framework Programmes for Research and Technical Development. If you are interested in collaborating to develop new research proposals for EU Framework programmes, don't hesitate to contact us.

Projects for government and private organizations
Researchers at TIK carry out projects for government or private enterprises and organizations when such projects are in line with the strategical priorities of the Centre.

Knowledge dissemination in society
Researchers at TIK participate activty in dissemination of research results to the general public and to targeted user groups.
