Hannah Schupfer

PhD candidate

Research Interests

Hannahs research interests revolve around organizational phenomena, institutional theory, and sustainability transitions. She studies the fundamental organizational and institutional underpinnings of the ongoing sustainability transition in the Norwegian energy sector.

In her PhD project, Hannah investigates the organizational transformation of incumbents towards more sustainability-oriented technologies and behavior. In particular, she focuses on how the role incumbent and entrant collaborations developed over time and how their interaction fosters the pending sustainability transition in the Norwegian energy sector. By applying insights from theories on institutional change, framing and interorganizational partnerships she links micro-macro level dynamics.

Hannah has a master degree in Organization Studies at the University of Innsbruck, Austria, from 2019, and a bachelor degree in international Business Administration from the University of Vienna, Austria from 2016.
