INTRANSIT conference 12 November: Innovation for Transformative Change

After a decade of green and digital ambitions – interrupted by a pandemic, wars, an energy crisis and the arrival of AI – where does Norway’s green shift actually stand? On 12 November, INTRANSIT invites researchers, industry, policymakers and civil society to Professorboligen in Oslo to take stock.

At the conference Innovation for Transformative Change: Lessons from a Decade of Disruptions, INTRANSIT researchers will present key findings from seven years of research on industrial transformation, sustainability and digitalisation. They are joined by actors from industry, policy and civil society in panel discussions on three questions:

  • How is the twin green and digital transition unfolding in the age of AI?
  • Has the green shift in Norwegian industry stalled, or is it still in transit?
  • What actually works in innovation policy for transformative change?

The programme also features a panel of early career scholars from INTRANSIT presenting new research on sustainability, policy and transitions in Norwegian industries.

Wednesday 12 November 2026, 12:00–17:00
Professorboligen, Karl Johans gate, Oslo
