PROUD - PRocess and OUtcome of eating Disorder

PRocess and OUtcome of eating Disorder (PROUD) is a research group that study eating disorder. Our goal is to understand what causes and maintain eating disorders, what kind of treatment that is most effective – especially for vulnerable groups – prevalence and treatment outcome in a long-term perspective

The research group’s goals are to 1) use several methods in their different studies (qualitative methods and complex methods as network analysis), 2) use different designs (intervention studies and follow-up studies) and 3) in different research discipline (epidemiology and psychotherapy research). Through these focus areas we want to investigate what leads to change (PR) and how this affect outcome (OU). We are interested in the whole spectre of eating disorder (D), both anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, atypical variants and binge eating disorder.

Suplementary information about the participants in PROUD.
