Dr. Maria J. Portella

Maria J. Portella leads the Mental Health Research Group at IR Sant Pau in Barcelona and is affiliated with CIBERSAM. She is also Associate Professor at the School of Medicine (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona). Her research focuses on the neuropsychobiology of affective disorders, spanning neuropsychology and cognitive neuroscience, biomarkers, treatment response, and novel therapeutic approaches.

Muriel Vicent-Gil

Muriel Vicent-Gil is a clinical neuropsychologist and researcher at Hospital de Sant Pau and IR Sant Pau in Barcelona. Her research focuses on cognitive and functional outcomes in depression, neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation, and psychological interventions targeting cognitive dysfunction, including their underlying biological mechanisms.
