Academic interests
In my research I am interested in early-life neurodevelopment and how it is influenced by the prenatal environment. I am currently studying adults and infants with a history of prenatal opioid exposure. To better understand changes in the brain, I combine structural and quantitative (3D-QALAS) imaging methods with behavioural assessments. The aim of this project is to understand the complex effects of prenatal opioid exposure on neural, cognitive, and psychosocial development.
Tasks performed
- Processing of the neuroanatomical data (structural/quantitative/perfusion MRI)
- Organization and standardization according to BIDS
- Investigation of neuroanatomical changes from the infancy to the senior age
