Academic interests
Motivated by reducing stigma and promoting recovery in severe mental illness, my research aim is twofold: To generate more balanced knowledge about long-term outcomes in people with psychotic and bipolar disorders, by focusing on personal as well as clinical recovery, wellbeing, and stigma. Moreover, to use this knowledge in the development of recovery-oriented and anti-stigma interventions in order to provide hope and a good life for this group. People with lived experience are an integrated part of my research activity.
