The Department of Psychology collaborates with many research groups both nationally and abroad.

Current Collaborations

The Department of Psychology collaborates with Ukrainian professionals at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv's Faculty of Psychology (TSNUK) and with Anna Gebinska at The SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities through the project: "Psychological reactions to war and traumaFurthermore, this project involves cooperation between Norwegian and international aid organizations like the Norwegian Psychological Association, Psychology students beyond borders (PUG) and the European Federation of Psychologists Associations (EFPA). Moreover, the working group at the Department of Psychology collaborates also with Mental Health and Human Rights Info (MHHRI), a Norwegian NGO, providing information on mental health and human rights.

Hospital Trusts

Cooperation with Norwegian hospital trusts is an important research priority for the department, and PSI has seven agreements to collaborate with hospital trusts:

  • Vestre viken HF, cooperation agreement between UiO through Professor emeritus Bjørn Rishovd Rund.

  • Sørlandet Sykehus, through Associate Professor II Vegard Øksendal Haaland and Professor Jon Monsen

  • Psychiatry of Vestfold Trust through Professor II Jens Egeland

  • Diakonhjemmet Sykehus by Professor Tim Brennen

  • Sunnas Sykehus trust by Professor II Anne-Kristine Schanke and professor Bruno Laeng

  • Rikshospitalet trust by Ann-Kristin Solbakk through the FRONT project together with Associate Professor Tor Endestad. Professor Anders Fjell and Professor Kristine Walhovd also collabotates with Rikshospitalet

  • Ullevål Hospital cooperate with Professor Kjetil Søren Sundet through the TOP Project. Professor Anders Fjell and Professor Kristine Walhovd also collaborates with Ullevål Universitetssykehus
