Lauren Hagstrom receives IAEA Fellowship

Lauren Hagstrom has been selected for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship Programme, which encourages young women to pursue a career in the nuclear field, for 2025-2026. Lauren Hagstrom is ONP affiliate and works as research assistant for Professor Målfrid Braut-Hegghammer, supporting and participating in several research projects and project activities. She is the second ONP member to receive this prestigious fellowship. Lauren will receive a scholarship for her master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Oslo, where she specializes in nuclear strategy and arms control issues. She will also have the opportunity to pursue an internship facilitated by the IAEA. Hagstrom is writing a master´s thesis in the nuclear field.
