I am a Postdoctoral Fellow/Assistant Professor at the University of Oslo. Previously, I was a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow at the European University Institute. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from Yale University in 2022, with distinction.

My research spans political economy, comparative politics, and related subfields. I primarily explore the impact of social norms and informal institutions on the cohesion and survival of democratic institutions and state capacity. I often employ game theory and causal inference methods, particularly survey experiments. My research has been published in Perspectives on Politics and the Journal of Politics
Background
I hold a BA from Washington University in St. Louis and an MSc from the London School of Economics, both in Political Economy. I also hold an MA in Economics and an MPhil in Political Science from Yale University.
