I am working at The Norwegian Police University College in Oslo, and I am an externally funded PhD candidate in sociology at the University of Oslo. I am currently working on crime prevention with a focus on human and economic mechanisms and consequences linked to the phenomenon “grooming”. In my PhD project, I investigate "online grooming" related to online child sexual exploitation and abuse and online dating- and romance fraud. I apply both qualitative and quantitative research methods in this project. The PhD project is funded by the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (JD) / the National Police Directorate (POD).
