Election of representatives to the department board
The term of office for the department board is four years for representatives for the permanent academic staff and for the technical-administrative staff. The term of office for temporary academic staff and student representatives is one year.
Election of Department Head and Deputy Head
The election of the department head and deputy head is conducted as a single election, unless the department board determines that the deputy head is to be appointed by the department head. Both the Department Head and Deputy Head shall be elected in accordance with the rules adopted by the university board.
Election Board for 2025-2026
For all elections, an election board shall be appointed in accordance with the University of Oslo's election regulations ยง3. The election board is responsible for ensuring that the elections are conducted in accordance with the regulations.
