The project investigates the relationship between energy security and transition in today's turbulent political situation, focusing mainly on the EU's energy policy and the interaction with pandemic, war, and climate change on one hand, and markets and industrial organization of different energy sectors on the other.
About the project
The "Energy Turbulence - the political response" project focuses on the existing and developing relationship between energy transition and energy security in today's turbulent political situation. Specifically, the project studies the EU's energy policy and the interaction between 'energy-external' changes such as pandemic, war, the rise of political extremism and climate change on one side, and markets and industrial organization of different energy sectors, particularly oil, natural gas and renewable energy on the other.
