Taking Sustainability Seriously: Education for Transformation
What is the role of the students and employees at the University when it comes to transformations to sustainability in society? What are the skills and competencies students need to navigate change and influence their future? Can there be such a thing as transformative universities?
In this Climate and Society Forum we will discuss how students and faculty at the University see their role in transforming society. What values are we coming from in education and as students? Is “education as usual” sufficient?
We invite you to join us to reflect upon and discuss what more could be done to enhance the university’s role in generating equitable and sustainable transformations.
The Climate and Society Forum is a space where people who are interested in climate change can engage with specific themes and exchange thoughts and perspectives on our individual and collective roles in transformations to sustainability.
