We are pleased to invite you to the first meeting, which will take place on Wednesday 26th of September in Undervisningsrom 1 in Georg Sverdrups hus (the library building).
Karen O’Brien will present a short introduction and description of an article that will be published next week in Ecology and Society (co-authored with Elin Selboe and Bronwyn Hayward) on “Exploring youth activism on climate change: dutiful, disruptive, and dangerous dissent.” We will also be hearing from people experienced with climate change activism and mobilization and discussing the topic in small groups. We hope to see you there for an active discussion and dialogue!
The Climate and Society Forum is a space where people who are interested in climate change can engage with specific themes and exchange thoughts and perspectives on our individual and collective role in transformations to sustainability.
