In this breakfast seminar, you will get a practical introduction to what AI is, what it can – and cannot – do, and how to use AI tools in a safe, critical, and creative way in your research.
After the course, you will have a clearer understanding of AI, an overview of UiO’s AI services for researchers, and ideas for how to start using them in your own work.
Johannes Saastad is Senior Adviser at UiO's IT Department where he is responsible for the introductory courses to Artificial Intelligence. Anne Schad Bergsaker, Section Manager for Advanced User Contact in the IT Department, will also take part.
There will be time for questions after the presentation.
