How do parliaments help transform the cases and issues they are handling? This was the topic of a paper given by Kristin Asdal last week.
As the first invited speaker in the Little Tools seminar series, professor Claes-Fredrik Helgesson will introduce valuography, a programme of empirically oriented research into the enacting, ordering, and displacing of values.
Kristin Asdal will be presenting the paper "How economists care for the environment:the little tools of valuation in office work" at the "Valuation and Evaluation" workshop in Paris, 9-10 December.
At the upcoming annual 4S Meeting in Denver, Colorado 11-14 November, Kristin Asdal will be chairing the session "Valuations I: Machineries", and presenting the paper: "Re-timing the Atlantic cod: Biocapitalization and the little tools of valuation and timing in aquaculture". Both are part of a full-day track on valuation, on Friday 13 November.
The Little Tools project co-organized a full-day track on valuation studies during the international 4S conference in Denver in November 2015.
