M.A. in Development, Institutions and Economic Integration Jakoba Sraml Gonzalez will be defending the thesis Innovation in situations of crisis: oil and gas suppliers as innovators during the 2014–2017 industry downturn for the degree of ph.d.

TIK Centre for Technology, Innovation and Culture will host the fourth EU-SPRI winter/summer school on innovation policy in September 2018. This fourth installment will focus on the science system in the 21st century.

Professor ved Institutt for Teknologi, Innovasjon og kultur ved Universitetet i Oslo, Magnus Gulbrandsen kommer til Forum for Vitenskapsteori! Gulbrandsen jobber blant annet med offentlige forskningsorganisasjoner rolle i innovasjon, prosessen omkring “impact”, kommersialisering av forskning og forholdet mellom universitet og industri.

The Little Tools project hosted a workshop in Tromsø in April. The workshop was organized by Professor Kristin Asdal and Post Doc Tone Huse, as part of their study ‘The Economic Life of Cod’.


Ana Delgado is visiting the Science Studies Colloquium Series. She is Associate Professor at Centre for Techonology, Innovation and Culture at UiO. Delgado’s research is concerned with the public dimensions of science and technology. Her research combines resources from Science and Technology Studies (STS), Social Anthropology and Political Science.
