Sylvia Irene Lysgård
Lysgård's academic interests span a wide range of topics from technology development and the history of technology, to the history of science and the role science plays in policy-making. She has a specific research interest in Norwegian energy politics, as she is investigating the connections between political actors and the industry in Norway, and how they work to meet the challenges of climate change.
Higher education and employment history
Sylvia Lysgård holds a MA in STS, Science and Technology Studies (2006) from NTNU, The Norwegian University of Science and Technology. She has a Bachelor's diploma in Visual Communication and Media Science from Buskerud University College (HiBu) and NTNU. Before starting her research project, Lysgård worked as a consultant and project manager within the ICT industry. She also has experience as a student advisor and administrative consultant from both HiBu and NTNU.
