Julie Sascia Mewes

Julie Sascia Mewes is a social anthropologist working on the intersection between science and technology studies and health studies with a particular interest in the sociomaterialities of health. She received her PhD in European Ethnology from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Germany). She currently holds a position as a postdoc at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUSTlab) and a guest researcher at University of Oslo (TIK) working on her project "Matters of Sleep – Sleep devices in the everyday life of Norwegian hospital staff".
