Faglige interesser

My research brings together perspectives from the fields of cognitive and evolutionary psychology, anthropology and archaeology toward a naturalised account of social categorisation, groups and alliances. Using eye tracking technology, I’m currently investigating social affiliation and kin group intuitions in the cognitive development of infants, and with field experiments explore how these are represented within culture-distinct groups and subgroups, primarily in contexts of intergroup conflict and adversity.
