Background

Also olds a part-time position as a researcher at the Regional Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Eastern and Southern Norway.
PhD in Psychology at University of Oslo (2018) with a focus on prevention of anxiety and depression in children. Obtained the degree Cand.psychol at the same university in 2004.
Additionally holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Kansas State University (1988) and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, Scotland (1986).
Ongoing/Recent studies:
FOPPT4 – 5-year follow-up og the TIM study. The study aims to examine the long-term effects of the school based EMOTION intervention. The study is founded by the Stiftelsen DAM, collaboration with Voksne for Barn.
The ECHO study: an optimizing study with factorial design conducted at the Regional Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Eastern and Southern Norway in collaboration with RKBU Mid Norway/NTNU and RKBU North/UiT. The aim of the study was to create a framework that allows more evidence-based interventions to be provided to a lower cost to society. The study was funded by the Kavli Foundation.
The Coping Kids (TIM) study: a randomized controlled study of a new indicated preventive intervention for children with symptoms of anxiety and depression. The study was conducted at the Regional Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Eastern and Southern Norway in collaboration with RKBU Mid Norway/NTNU and RKBU North/UiT. Funded by the Norwegian Research Council.
