Academic Interests
I actively work with data processing and IT solutions for the research center I am a part of, the Center for Lifespan Changes in Brain and Cognition (LCBC). I actively collaborate with other engineers, researchers, and administrative staff at the center to ensure secure and reliable data collection for all projects. Particularly, I am heavily involved in the EU consortium Lifebrain, where I have the main responsibility for data processing and management.
A significant portion of my time is spent developing packages for the statistical program R, aiming to improve data flow and simplify the everyday research tasks for myself and my colleagues. Additionally, I assist with analysis work and develop other tools for analysis and data processing.
Currently, I am leading the Core Facility Capro and the Hub-Node project "Capretto", both focused on enhancing technical solutions and making them accessible to social scientists and humanists.
Teaching
Higher education and employment history
I completed my Bachelor's (under-graduate) in Cognitive Psychology in 2009, and continued to take my Master's degree (2-year post-graduate) in Cognitive neuroscience right after this, both at the University of Oslo. My Master's project was about age-realted changes in resting state patterns in a large sample of adults spanning 20 - 80 years of age.
I worked for several years at Vestre Viken Hospital Trust, Blakstad hospital, as a community worker in a department with mainly schizophrenics and persons with dual diagnosis problems. Additionally, I have worked for some years as a research assistent and a seminar leader at the University of Oslo.
