Currently working on the project Youth Skills (ySKILLS). The PhD project, Gender dysphoria amongst adolescents, was a qualitative and phenomenological interview study. The aim was to shed light on how gender dysphoria/gender incongruence is experienced by young people themselves, in order to develop theory of gender identity development and future research on gender affirmative treatment. The project was supported by Damm Foundation (Stiftelsen Dam) in collaboration with Norwegian Council for Mental Health (Rådet for psykisk helse), Queer Youth Norway (Skeiv Ungdom), Norwegian Organisation for Sexual and Gender Diversity (Foreningen FRI), and Harry Benjamin Resource Centre (HBRS).
