PhD Project

In my PhD project, I am investigating the positive as well as negative consequences of social media use on the social inclusion and psychological health of adolescents, with particular emphasis on intersecting factors of ethnicity, cultural identity, and socioeconomic status. The project employs a mixed methods approach that involves both qualitative interview studies, and focus groups, as well as quantitative longitudinal social network analysis.
