The 2019 conference will be held at Kleivstua, about 45 minutes’ drive from Oslo and about 1 hour 20 minutes from Oslo Airport Gardermoen (by taxi). Located in the forest north-west of Oslo, the meeting space offers excellent hiking opportunities and has a nice view overlooking lake Tyrifjorden and its surroundings. All conference participants are responsible for making and paying for their own travel arrangements to and from Kleivstua.
There is no conference registration fee and the organizers will cover lodging and local food expenses for one author per accepted paper. Due to the very high prices on alcohol in Norway, the participants must pay for alcoholic beverages themselves. Participants are also responsible for their own travel expenses and are encouraged to buy offsets for the carbon footprint of their travel to Oslo.
There is very limited space available for co-authors (unless they share a room with the main author). Co-authors will have to pay for their own travel, lodging (unless sharing), and food expenses.
Participants should plan to arrive on Thursday, June 25, by mid-afternoon and depart on Sunday, June 28, in the morning. Only those who can attend the entire conference will be invited to participate.
