Academic interests

My interests lie mainly in political and practical philosophy. In my current project I ask how we should understand the nature of the relationship between an innocent beneficiary of a wrong and the victim of that wrong, in particular its normative implications.

More generally I am interested in contemporary debates about global justice, in particular how we should think about the responsibilities the affluent may have towards the desperately poor.

I am also particularly interested in contemporary development of non-consequentialist moral theory.
