The International Encyclopedia of Geography

Researchers from Department of Sociology and Human Geography at UIO have contributed to the brand new International Encyclopedia in Geography.

The International Encyclopedia of Geography arises from a collaboration between Wiley and the American Association of Geographers (AAG) and aims to review and define the concepts, research, and techniques in geography and interrelated fields. 

The International Encyclopedia of Geography is available as an online resource and contain more than 1000 articles.


David Jordhus-Lier has contributed with an article on Trade Unions.

Kristian Stokke has contributed with an article on Nation-State.

Karen O`Brien has contributed with an article on Climate Change Adaptation and Social Transformation.
