In this book chapter Per Gunnar Røe explores the relation between the pandemic and low-income status in Oslo and argues that social inequality, rather than density and public transport use, is most associated with contagion.

Per Gunnar Røe has, together with Lars Böcker and Elling Oftedal, co-written this chapter in volume four of the book series "Global Reflections on Covid-19 and Urban Inequalities". In the chapter they explore the relation between the pandemic and low-income status in Oslo.
