About Osloforskning

Osloforskning is a collaboration between the City of Oslo and the University of Oslo (UiO) and is intended to promote research and recruitment to research that derives its theme from Oslo.

The University of Oslo wants to stimulate Oslo's research community and focuses on Master students and their research. For its part, the City of Oslo wants to make use of the university's expertise to ensure its management is forward-looking.

The board and academic committee

The board consists of:

  • Monica Lund - chair of the board
  • David Jordhus-Lier - academic director
  • Kristin Horn Bringedal - representative of the City of Oslo
  • Per Gunnar Røe - representative of UiO
  • Finn Erhard Johannessen - representative of UiO
  • Idar Henrik Seem - student representative from the Student Parliament

 

The secretary for Osloforskning is the PhD consultant at the Department of Sociology and Human Geography.
