Background

I have been working as an EU adviser since December 2009.

I have a background as a classical archeologist with studies from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Master's and PhD from the University of Oslo. I have been a fellow at IAKH (Institute of Archaeology, Conservation and History) where I completed my PhD thesis entitled: The construction of knowledge in archeology - the case of "Philip's tomb" at Vergina in northern Greece.

Parallel and after my period as a fellow, I worked as administrative leader of Dialogues with the Past, a Nordic Research School in Archeology. I have also had teaching assignments, sensor work, guidance and has been the technical editor of IAKH's Oslo Archeological Series (OAS).
