Danish ambassador to Norway: The future of globalization and international trade
The Danish ambassador to Norway, Jarl Frijs-Madsen, will visit the University of Oslo to give a guest lecture on the future of globalization and international trade, exemplified through the modern Danish economic diplomacy.
This is a great opportunity for those with subjects in international economy to use their knowledge and learn more about how the contents of the syllabus applies to the world around us.
Jarl Frijs-Madsen has been the CEO of the Trade Council of Denmark and Under-secretary for international trade and investment in the Danish MFA. He has also been Ambassador, Consul General of Denmark in New York. From 2015-2017 he was Associated Partner and Futurist at the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies.
Jarl Frijs-Madsen has been invited by professor Karen Helene Ulltveit-Moe. The guest lecture is part of the series ECON1410 - Internasjonal økonomi, but is open to everyone.
