Conference about Future Tax Bases and Taxation of Natural Resources

On January 15th, the Department of Economics and OFS organised a conference on the future tax base and natural resource taxation. Participants included policy makers and advisers, members of the public administration, the business world, researchers, and media.

The speakers were Steinar Holden, Ragnhild Schreiner, and Karen Helene Ulltveit-Moe. The presentations were followed by a panel debate concerning what we should tax in the future. The panel consisted of Bård Bjerkholt (Dagens Næringsliv), Vidar Christiansen (Department of Economics), Kjetil Storesletten (Department of Economics) and Ragnar Tveterås (University of Stavanger).
