Øyvind Bugge Solheim is a Senior Research Fellow at Institute for Social Research. He studies right-wing extremism on social media as part of the FREXO-project. Central questions concern the social networks of Scandinavian right-wing extremists, their ideology and their ability to mobilize followers and supporters. In his PhD he studied how terrorist attacks affect attitudes towards immigration and immigrants.
